Martin's new blog is now live from Berlin!
The blog includes daily musings, latest projects, photos and
links from the strange and colourful everyday life of the
Duffy's in Germany.
Martin's latest short novel for children,
Peg Leg Gus,
is available from the start of 2007 through all major online
retailers.
Martin was the first director
to be profiled on the new Filmmaking Focus online
zine. Read the article,

A recent Trinity College
Dublin thesis on Childhood in Irish Cinema, by
Pádraic Whyte, includes a chapter on The Boy from Mercury.

Martin Duffy
As a filmmaker, Martin
Duffy has directed three award-winning feature films, The
Boy from Mercury, The Bumblebee Flies Anyway and
The Testimony of Taliesin Jones. His experience as
film-editor spans over two decades of Irish national
television. He has written several books, and now lives in
